Notify me when its in stockThe REN–Samsung Universal Steering Lock Emulator is a plug-and-play ESL/ELV replacement designed for multiple REN and Samsung models.
Steering lock failure is extremely common in Megane, Fluence, Scenic, Clio and Captur platforms. When the ELV unit fails, the vehicle will not start even if the key and immobilizer system function normally.
This universal emulator instantly bypasses the faulty steering lock, restoring full start authorization without programming or adaptation.
The unit also includes OEM-style lock sound simulation for a factory-like user experience.
Manufactured by MK3, it ensures stable communication with the UCH/BCM system and provides a permanent, cost-effective solution for ELV failures.

The ELV (Electronic Steering Lock) contains mechanical components prone to failure.
When this mechanical fault occurs:
• The key is recognized
• The ignition system works
• The vehicle will NOT start because the ELV cannot activate
Dealership repair requires replacing the entire steering lock and programming it — a costly and slow process.
The MK3 Universal Emulator replaces the original ELV unit completely, permanently bypassing the mechanism with no coding and no adaptation.
Disconnect the original ELV plug from the vehicle’s steering lock.
Connect the plug directly into the emulator.
Start the vehicle.
• Green LED ON → System ready, engine starts normally
• Red LED blinking → Clear stored ELV faults using any diagnostic tool
Installation is extremely simple and takes only seconds.
