Starting from model year 2018, FCA vehicles (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, Fiat, Alfa Romeo) are equipped with a Secure Gateway Module (SGW) designed to prevent unauthorized CAN bus access and remote hacking through cellular networks.

The FCA SGW Bypass Module temporarily unlocks full diagnostic and programming communication, allowing service tools such as OBD Genie to enable features, perform coding, or access restricted ECUs.

This bypass is NOT a performance tuner—it simply provides temporary access during programming. After completing diagnostics or programming, the original SGW plugs are reconnected.

🛠️ Installation Instructions

1. Locate the SGW module in your vehicle (varies by model).

2. Unplug the two OEM connectors from the SGW.

3. Insert both plugs directly into the FCA bypass module.

4. Perform your diagnostic or programming operation.

5. Once the green LED confirms success, disconnect the bypass.

6. Reinstall the original SGW module exactly as before.
