Notify me when its in stockThe N360 ELV Steering Lock Emulator is designed to replace the factory electronic steering lock used in premium VAG vehicles such as VW Touareg, Audi A8, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley and VW Phaeton.
These vehicles often experience steering lock motor failure, causing the column lock to jam, preventing engine start and triggering “steering lock fault / unreliable signal” warnings in diagnostics.
The N360 emulator eliminates the weak mechanical motor inside the original ELV and provides a stable, long-lasting electronic replacement. No CPU cloning is required — simply transfer the original car’s ELV CPU to the emulator board and install it.
System Type: ELV Steering Lock Emulator (N360)
Fitment: VW, Audi, Porsche, Bentley steering column lock systems
Supported Modules: J518 Steering Lock Module
Programming: No coding required (transfer original CPU only)
Stability: Cancels vulnerable motor relay for improved reliability
Direct Replacement: Fits inside original ELV housing
Condition: Brand New
Improved Design: Prevents common failures caused by jammed lock motors
Factory ELV steering locks used in large-platform VAG vehicles are known for:
Motor jamming / relay failure
Stuck locking bolt preventing ignition
ECU detecting “unreliable signal” fault
Steering column refusing to unlock
The N360 simulator solves these issues by:
Eliminating the mechanical locking motor
Providing a 100% electronic ELV simulation
Allowing the vehicle to start normally
Maintaining CAN communication with the J518 module
Simply move the original ELV CPU to the emulator board to ensure perfect vehicle compatibility.
Disassemble the original ELV unit.
Remove the factory CPU from the ELV board.
Solder or mount the CPU onto the N360 emulator board.
Install the new board into the ELV casing.
Reassemble the steering lock and reinstall it into the vehicle.
Clear any fault codes if necessary.
⚠️ Important: If diagnostics show a “unreliable signal” type fault, verify wiring and ELV status before installation.
